Supported independent home living / or shared living
Supporting Options supports people to live independently in their own homes, whether they choose to live on their own or with others.
We offer support and encouragement with all aspects of daily living. These include tasks such as shopping, food preparation, healthy eating, having a healthy lifestyle, banking, budgeting and all other aspects of finance and debt management. We also provide support with safety in the home, dealing with correspondence, and attending appointments. Give advice and guidance on maintaining emotional wellbeing, building relationships, spiritual and cultural needs, risk taking and making choices and decisions.
Navigation through the process of finding and moving into accommodation
Supporting Options support people to get their own tenancies with either private landlords, housing associations, or through the council. Supporting Options often helps people to move out of their family home or residential home so that they can achieve greater independence. We can help with all stages of moving, including planning, benefit and grant applications, budgeting, exploring transport links and the local area.
